Without detracting from the primary responsibility of managers and supervisors for ensuring safe conditions of work, D&W Mechanical Services Limited will provide competent technical advice on Health & Safety matters where this is necessary to assist line management in its task via the Companies Health and Safety Officer
No safety policy is likely to be successful unless it actively involves work people themselves. D&W Mechanical Services Limited will therefore co-operate fully with customer site safety representatives who will be provided with appropriate facilities and training necessary to carry out this task. The manager of the site will be our first point of contact on site. The manager will abide and comply with CDM regulations.
D&W Mechanical Services Limited employees are made aware of their own duties under Section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Act, to take care for their own safety and that of other workers and to co-operate with D&W Mechanical Services Limited so as to enable it to carry out its own responsibilities successfully.
